AbridgeMe was founded to solve the problem of information overload in today's rapidly evolving world.
The idea was hatched as a way for even the busiest and most distracted individuals to get an understanding on any topic in 100 words or less. Knowing that it would be virtually impossible to summarize every important topic in the world alone, the AbridgeMe crowdsourced platform was designed to allow any subject matter expert, professional writer, amateur blogger, professor, etc. to contribute and help grow the ever-evolving content base.
Founders Eric and Roger met while working side by side developing electronic trading systems on Wall Street. Oddly enough, it was when they tried to simply explain their jobs to friends and family that they realized no go-to resource existed for “elevator pitch” style explanations on any topic. Thus, AbridgeMe was born.
